Raja Lal Koli (
Lalsinh Koli) was a
Koli king (
Koli Zamindar) of the
Chuwal region of
Gujarat.

The
Muslim writers have described Lal Koli (Lalsinh Koli) as a untuly Koli king. During the rule of
Mughal Sultan Jahangir in Gujarat,
Raja Lalsinh Koli of the Chuwal region caused considerable trouble to the royal Mughal authorities. Lal Koli (Lalsinh Koli) had a
cavalry of 3000 and
infantry of 12000 soldiers and whenever the
Mughal army passed through his territory, Lal Koli (Lalsinh Koli) often attacked the Mughal army and looted their weapons.

The
Sultan Jahangir sent the
Mughal Subedar to collect taxes in this area. On the arrival of the Mughal Subedar, everyone welcomed him but the King of Idar and the Koli King of Chuwal, Lal Koli (Lalsinh Koli) refused to pay the taxes and when the Mughal Subedar was returning to sultan, Lal Koli's army attacked the Mughal convoy on the way and looted their weapons and other belongings as well.

Due to which in 1615, Mughal Sultan Jahangir sent
Mughal Viceroy Abdullah Khan Firoz Jung with the Mughal army to deal with Koli King Lal Koli (Lalsinh Koli). In 1615, a battle took place between Koli King Lal Koli (Lalsinh Koli) and the Mughal army in which after defeating the Koli, Mughal Viceroy Abdullah Khan Firoz Jung beheaded Lal Koli (Lalsinh Koli) and took away his head.
