The Koli is a agriculturist caste of Gujarat and Daman & Diu. The Koli population in Gujarat is 24% of the state and 31% in the Himachal Pradesh.
Here are a list of Koli states (Jagirs and Kingdoms) and clans (Dynasties and Rajvansh)
- Mukne dyansty of Jawhar state: the Jawhar state in Thana agency was founded by Koli polygar named Jayabha Mukne (Jaideorao Mukne) who founded the Mukne dynasty and Mahalakshmi temple in Dahanu town of Maharashtra. The rulers of Jawhar state was Mahadev Kolis by caste and their family clan was Popere and were chief of Mukne village but later they became ruler of Jawhar state and used the Mukne as their dynasty.
- Shah dynasty of Ramnagar kingdom: the Ramnagar kingdom (now known as Dharampur state) was ruled by Koli ruler Som Shah who was last Koli ruler of Ramnagar. Som Shah was defeated by Maratha army under the leadership of Chhatrapati Shivaji in the battle of Salher.
- Pawar dynasty of Surgana State: the ruling family of Surgana state is Mahadev Koli by caste but they have marritual relationship with other Maratha family.
- Angre dynasty of Colaba state: the ruling family of Colaba state was Son Koli (Sona Koli) by caste and ruled over Colaba till 1940 under Kanhoji Angre II. Kanhoji Angre II was died without having a son so British government annxed the Colaba state in British India but another Angre family who was commander in chief of Gwalior State claimed the Colaba state but British government denied the claim because Angre family of Gwalior was born by the Concubin (Rakhel) of Kanhoji Angre with the excuse that concubins can sleep with anybody so we can't confirm the blood purity. But after the Independence of India, Angre famliy of Gwalior (Concubinage family) again claimed the Colaba from Indian Government and successfully recieved the rights. So they are not Koli by blood.
- Bhangare dynasty of Deogaon: the Bhangare Kolis of Maharashtra ruled over several jagirs with the titles of Deshmukh and Patil. One of the Koli Jagirs was Deogaon in Maratha Empire. Later Bhangare Kolis turned as rebel against Maratha Empire's Peshwa because of land rights and then fought against British government after the fall of Marathas against Mahar regiment. Some of the names of freedom fighters of Bhangare dynasty of Deogaon are Valoji Bhangare, Manaji Bhangare, Raghoji Bhangare, Gamaji Bhangare, and Bapuji Bhangare. Bapuji Bahnagre was married with the princess of Jawhar state.
- Kagadia dynasty of Umrala: the Umrala town of Gujarat was founded and ruled by Koli ruler Umaji Kagadiya (Umo Kagadia) was last ruler of Umrala and Umrala town was named after him.
- Baria dynasty of Baria state in Gujarat: the ruling family of Baria State (Devgad Baria) is Koli by caste but they have marritual relationship with Rajputs of Gujarat because they married with Rajput girls.
- Rao dynasty of Peint (Peth) in Maharashtra: the ruling family of Peint was Koli by caste and the last Koli ruler of Peint was Bhargavrao who was hanged by British government because of his involvement in Koli rebellion of peint.
- Negi dynasty of Koligarh in Garhwal: the Koligarh castle in Garhwal was ruled by Negi Kolis and the last Koli ruler was Thakur Jhagad Singh Negi who was defeated by Rajput ruler Ajay Pal of Garhwal kingdom.
- Mer dynasty of Dhandhuka and Dhandalpur: the Dhandhuka and Dhandalpur was ruled by Mer Kolis of Gujarat. Dhan Mer was last Koli ruler of Dhandhuka. Dhan Mer conquered the Vallabhipur (Vala) by defeating the Rajput ruler Ebhal Vala and abd then Mer Kolis ruled over Vallabhipur. Dhandhuka and Dhandalpur got their names from Koli ruler Dhan Mer.
- Khasia dynasty of Khas village in Guajrat: Khas village in Gujarat was ruled by Koli cheif of Khasia clan whi were blood relatives of Koli ruler Dhan Mer. During the British rule in India, Khasia Kolis ruled over petty jagirs of Vijanones & Shevdivadar.
- Thorat dynasty of Daman & Diu: Daman and Diu was fortified and ruked by Thorat Kolis and the last Koli ruler of Daman & Diu was Nag Thorat (Nathorat) who aws defeated by Rajputs of Rajasthan.
- Koli Patil of Janjira state: the Janjira island was fortified, built and ruled by Koli chief Ram Patil who was admiral of Ahmadnagar Sultanate.
- Koli Patil of Guhagar in Maharashtra: The Koli family was hereditary Patil of Guhagar town in Maratha Empire. But they were defeated by Peshwa because of land rights but later one of the descendant of Koli Patil family named Yakut Khan (later converted to islam) became Admiral of Mughal navy and achieved the position of Ruler of Janjira state.
- Nayak dynasty of Sinhagad: The Sinhagad fort in Maharashtra was was fortified and ruled by Koli Rana Nag Nayak who fought against Sultan Aurangzeb for nine months.
- Sord dynasty of Idar state: the Idar State was ruled by Koli Maharaja Hathi Sord and after his death he was succeeded by his son Samalio Sord. Kolis ruled over Idar state for two generations. Koli Maharaja Samalio Sord was killed by Rajputs by deceived in a wedding party.
- Koli Thakor of Jambughoda State: the ruling Koli family of Jambughoda State held the titles of Rana and Thakor.
- Chunvalia Kolis of Chunval pradesh (Chunval pradesh now known as Bahucharaji): The Chunaval Pradesh in Gujarat was ruled by Koli Thakors and last Koli ruler of Chunval was Amarji Thakor who fought against Muslim invaders. The grandson of Amarji Thakor became Girnari saint Velnath Thakor.
- Jalia dynasty of Dahewan: The Dahewan town in Gujarat was founded and ruled by Koli ruler Jalim Jalia who fought against Marathas.
- Mewasi Koli dynasty of Angadh state: the Angadh jagir in Gujarat was ruled by Koli chiefs of Mewasi clan.
- Baria dynasty of Veerpur in Rajkot of Gujarat: The Veerpur town in Rajkot district of Gujarat was founded, fortified and ruled by Koli ruler Veerji Baria (Viro Bariyo) who was last Koli ruler of Veerpur and Veerpur was named after Veerji Baria Koli.
