Yes, Marathas are Kshatriya and Yes, Marathas are Shudra and Yes Marathas are Brahmins because Maratha is a group of several castes who served in Maratha Empire. Himself, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was Kunbi by caste which is classified as Other Backward Class by Government of India. The Commander-in-chief of Maratha army was Prataprao Gurjar a Gurjar by caste but known as Maratha because he was serving in Maratha Empire, Darya-Sarang Kanhoji Angre who was grand admiral of Maratha Navy was Koli by caste but known as Maratha because he was serving in Maratha Empire, Peshwas of Maratha Empire were Brahmins by caste but known as Maratha because they were serving in Maratha Empire.
For example: nowdays Marathas protested against Maharashtra government to get reservation benefits under Other Backward Class but government denied their demands and asked to show their original caste Taampatra and some of the Marathas showed their Taampatras of Kunbi caste to get reservation.
It means Maratha is not a caste, Maratha is a group of castes who fought for Maratha Empire.
