Entrance of Shirpamal

The Shirpamal is an attractive and tourist place of Jawhar city of Maharashtra. When Chhatrapati Shivaji Raje Bhonsle went to attack Surat with his Maratha army, Shivaji camped in Jawhar state's territory and rested during the evening and met the Koli ruler of Jawhar, Vikram Shah Mukne, and together with Vikram Shah Mukne, attacked Surat the next day. The place where Shivaji and Vikram Shah met is known as Shirpamal and has been made a historical monument.

Shirpamal

शिरपामाल, महाराष्ट्र के जव्हार शहर का एक आकृषित एवं पर्यटन स्थल है। जब छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराज अपनी मराठा सेना के साथ सूरत पर आक्रमण निकले थे तो साम के समय शिवाजी ने जव्हार रियासत के पास कैम्प लगाकर आराम किया तथा जव्हार के कोली शासक विक्रम साह मुकने से मुलाकात की एवं विक्रम साह मुकने के साथ मिलकर अगले दिन सूरत पर आक्रमण कर दिया। जिस जगह शिवाजी एवं विक्रम शाह की मुलाकात हुई उस स्थान को शिरपामाल के नाम से जाना जाता है एवं ऐतिहासिक स्मारक बना दिया गया।
