Through our High Court Advocate Shri. Chandrasekhar Kher Saheb, have issued an official public notice in the newspapers Times of India and Maharashtra Times (Mumbai Edition) on 17th July 2025.
It has come to our attention that certain individuals are falsely portraying themselves as members of the Jawhar Royal Family, using our name and goodwill to obtain illegal benefits, mislead authorities, publish false histories, and tarnish our legacy.
We clarify that the only official members of the Jawahar Royal Family are as follows:
1) Maharaj Mahendrasingh Digvijaysingh Mukne
2) Maharani Vasundhararaje Mahendrasingh Mukne (wife)
3) Padminiraje Rohit Eswaran (sister)
4) Jaydev Mahendrasingh Mukne (son)
5) Martand Mahendrasingh Mukne (son)
Otherwise, no person, living or dead, is related to our Royal Family in any way.
Our family belongs to the Mahadev Koli Tribe, a declared Scheduled Tribe (ST) and we are Hindus. Any false claim regarding our caste or religious identity is a serious legal offence.
No person or organisation is authorized to use our royal seal, monogram emblem, history, ancient photos, or pictures of places. Misuse of this will result in criminal and civil legal action.
Without our permission, some persons have published books on the history of Jawhar, the content of which is completely false and fictitious and no one should believe it. These books are unauthorized, illegal, and misleading about history. Our family has no connection with these books and authors. The public should beware of such false literature.
The public should beware of people who deceive us by publishing false books based on our history or by misusing our name.
All government officials, private organisations and the general public are humbly requested not to believe in false claims.
